DIA has unveiled two significant updates: the activation of staking on its Layer 2 network Lasernet and the launch of a grants program to support developers in the Web3 ecosystem.
Staking on Lasernet
DIA staking is now available and offers a fully on-chain, permissionless, and flexible process. The staking conditions include a 7-day unbonding period and auto-compounding rewards. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is dynamic and adjusts based on the total amount of staked $DIA tokens. Each staked token helps secure the network and powers the next generation of decentralized oracles.
Grants for Developers
The DIA Grants Program provides developers access to oracle infrastructure at no cost for up to one year. Grants are funded directly from staking rewards through chain-specific vaults, removing a significant barrier for dApp developers: infrastructure costs. This initiative supports developers in areas such as DeFi, real-world assets, GameFi, and more, enabling experimentation and growth without compromise.
Partner Chains
DIA has partnered with 20 ecosystems, including Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, and others, providing oracle access for their developers through dedicated staking vaults. This initiative is more than just another grant campaign — it's a new incentive model aligning stakers, builders, and ecosystems through real utility and shared growth.
With the launch of staking and the grants program, the DIA ecosystem is entering a new phase of development, opening up new opportunities for innovation in decentralized applications and oracles.
