The open oracle network DIA recently announced Lumina, a completely reimagined oracle architecture. According to DIA representatives, Lumina will soon launch on its testnet, aiming to address the persistent deficiencies in trustless and decentralized data infrastructure for Web3.
Lumina Capabilities
Lumina leverages modular components to enable cutting-edge oracle functionalities such as data delivery, processing, storage, and verification. The crucial oracle operations of Lumina are conducted on Lasernet (DIA's local L2 rollup), which harnesses the latest advancements in Ethereum scaling technology.
Core Technological Features
The modular architecture reimagines trust suppositions at every stage of the value chain. Staking mechanisms provide a network of distributed nodes for sourcing rare trade data from over a hundred decentralized and centralized exchanges, securing contributions to the ecosystem via the $DIA token. Zero-Knowledge components are used to verify raw data.
Statements from DIA Representatives
Zygis Marazas, Head of Product at DIA, stated, 'Lumina represents the culmination of four years of infrastructure innovation in Web3.' The platform has integrated with over 50 L2 and L1 networks and serves data to more than 200 dApps. DIA specializes in the delivery and sourcing of adaptable data feeds for both off-chain and on-chain information.
Lumina lays the foundation for creating a trustless and decentralized oracle network aimed at maximizing trust and security while maintaining the flexibility to serve diverse use cases.
