  1. Changes to Infernal Hordes Mode
  2. Gameplay Improvements and Rewards
  3. Bug Fixes and UI Enhancements

  4. On August 20, Blizzard will release patch 1.5.1 for Diablo 4, bringing changes to the endgame content, specifically the Infernal Hordes mode. Players will also receive free legendary items, addressing a previous issue where certain items did not drop with their guaranteed higher affixes.

    Changes to Infernal Hordes Mode

Infernal Hordes, a key feature for players looking to level up and collect high-tier gear, has received several improvements. Elite options will now grant +2 Burning Aether instead of +1. Additionally, Spoils of Gold chests can now be used multiple times during gameplay, adding strategic flexibility.

    Gameplay Improvements and Rewards

Specific offerings within the Infernal Hordes mode have seen significant adjustments. For example, the Burning Rain offering will now grant 3-9 Burning Aether, triple the previous reward of 1-3. This change aims to make the offering more attractive, especially when combined with other offerings that spawn Hellborne. Blizzard has also confirmed that Hellborne spawn rates will be more consistent. Additionally, players will receive a cache of legendary items with guaranteed higher affixes, compensating for a previous drop issue.

    Bug Fixes and UI Enhancements

Patch 1.5.1 also includes several UI improvements and bug fixes. Trade chat is now separated by world tiers, facilitating communication among players at the same level of progress. Party leaders can promote another member to lead, adding flexibility to group dynamics. Other small improvements include notifications for new patches and the ability to change clan names. The Rogue's Alchemist Control option, temporarily disabled due to issues, has been reinstated. The most significant bug fix addressed an issue where the tormented Beast in Ice did not drop the correct number of Pincushioned Dolls, allowing characters to reach their full potential.

Patch 1.5.1 for Diablo 4 brings significant improvements to the Infernal Hordes mode, new legendary items, and numerous bug fixes, promising a more engaging and fair gameplay experience for all players.
