The World Liberty Financial fund, backed by the Trump family, has made a significant investment in digital assets, acquiring major stakes in several leading cryptocurrencies.
WLFI's Crypto Portfolio
World Liberty Financial has invested $336 million into nine cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum, Wrapped Bitcoin, Tron, Chainlink, Aave, Ethena, Movement, Ondo, and Sei. This diverse portfolio includes layer-1 blockchains, DeFi platforms, and liquidity tokens.
A New $21.5 Million Crypto Purchase
On March 6, WLFI made a major crypto purchase valued at $21.5 million. It acquired 4,468 ETH for $10 million, 110.6 Wrapped Bitcoin for another $10 million, and 3.42 million MOVE tokens for $1.5 million. The purchases were made using USDC from a multi-signature wallet, with $3.5 million remaining unspent.
Current Holdings of WLFI
As of March 6, according to Arkham Intelligence, WLFI's total holdings amount to $80.14 million, featuring 7,091 ETH ($16.31 million), 162.69 WBTC ($14.96 million), 13.2 million Tether, 4,972 staked ETH ($11.4 million), 40.71 million TRX ($10 million), and 7.58 million MOVE ($3.63 million). The fund also holds Ondo, USDC, and WhiteRock.
The latest investments align with the launch of the 'Crypto Strategic Reserve', reportedly centered around Bitcoin and Ethereum. This move has sparked controversy and discussions in the community.
