  4. EasyA, the leading Web3 education platform, has announced that it has reached 1 million downloads on iOS and Android. This milestone highlights EasyA’s rapid increase in popularity among developers and crypto enthusiasts.

    Growth in EasyA's Popularity

Founded in 2020 by brothers Phil and Dom Kwok, EasyA has quickly become a popular platform for both aspiring and experienced developers who want to learn and work with leading blockchain technologies like Polkadot. Today, over 100,000 developers are learning about Polkadot using EasyA.

Hitting 1 million downloads underscores just how popular EasyA’s become. But it’s not only developers who are loving EasyA. Blockchains do too. Demand for EasyA has absolutely blown us away. We currently have a waitlist of 12 months for new chains looking to launch on EasyA.Phil Kwok, CEO and Co-Founder of EasyA

    Comparisons with Duolingo

Industry thought leaders have likened EasyA’s mobile approach to learning Web3 to that of Duolingo and how the popular app transformed language learning. One Polkadot community member recently referred to EasyA as 'Duolingo, but twice as good.'

I tried learning Web3 by going to workshops or online bootcamps but always lost interest quickly. With EasyA, it’s so easy to learn about any chain I want, whenever I want. As soon as a new challenge drops in the app, I’m always one of the first to try and complete it, even if it sometimes means being late to lectures. Key Events and Achievements

EasyA's popularity extends beyond the online sphere. At any EasyA hackathon, long lines of developers can often be seen forming hours before the event begins. This summer, nearly 1,000 developers participated in EasyA’s Polkadot hackathons, launching 111 startups on Polkadot. At the CoinDesk Consensus conference in Austin, EasyA brought together the largest number of developers in the event's history. Over 100 startups were launched, with many now successfully securing funding.

EasyA plays a key role in the careers of many startup founders. Hackathon winners attract investments from leading venture companies like a16z and Founders Fund. EasyA plans to expand its activities by launching its own fund to invest in community-founded startups and continue its expansion into Asia.
