Ethereum Foundation has recently announced significant Ethereum transfers and support for the legal defense of one of its members.
Ethereum Foundation Transfers in the Last Month
Today, the Ethereum Foundation transferred 1,000 ETH to an anonymous wallet, equivalent to $2.45 million. Over the past month, the foundation has transferred a total of 9,000 ETH, valued at around $22 million. This information was shared by the Lookonchain account.
Support for Roman Storm's Legal Defense
The Ethereum Foundation has also been making regular donations to support the legal defense of Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm. Vitalik Buterin confirmed that the foundation is matching donations to support his legal defense fund, while Storm faces charges in the U.S., including money laundering and sanctions violations.
Ethereum ETF Flows
According to Lookonchain, on June 26, Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a net inflow of 13,642 ETH, amounting to $33.2 million. Meanwhile, BlackRock’s ETF acquired 22,698 ETH worth $55.25 million, making it the largest ETH acquisition by a single Ethereum ETF. Currently, BlackRock holds 1,743,756 ETH valued at $4.24 billion.
These events highlight the Ethereum Foundation's activity in supporting various projects and legal initiatives, as well as the ongoing interest in Ethereum ETFs.
