Ethereum's Pectra upgrade is poised for launch on testnets Holesky and Sepolia. The mainnet could receive it in April, following successful testing.

Pectra Upgrade Plans

Ethereum's Pectra upgrade will begin with the launch on testnets Holesky and Sepolia, aiming to enhance network capabilities. Holesky will update on February 24, 2025, followed by Sepolia on March 5, 2025.

Testnet Details and Mainnet Launch Possibility

If Holesky and Sepolia testnets update successfully, the mainnet will receive the upgrade in April. The exact date for the mainnet will be decided on March 6 during the All Core Developers call.
