Testnet Scheduling

Future Glamsterdam Upgrade
Attention is already turning to the next phase—the Glamsterdam upgrade, expected in 2026. Proposed features will be confirmed on August 1. One potential change includes halving Ethereum's block time, which developers believe could dramatically improve DeFi performance. Meanwhile, validator votes are trending toward raising the gas limit to 45 million, with community support for easing transaction congestion.
