The trading and investment platform eToro has announced the launch of six target-date investment portfolios in collaboration with Franklin Templeton, a renowned asset management company. These portfolios are designed to assist users in achieving financial goals through time-based strategies.
What are Target-Date Portfolios
Target-date portfolios are created to help investors work towards financial goals over a specific time horizon. The portfolios automatically adjust their asset allocation and resulting risk profile over the investment period.
Portfolio Strategy
eToro's Target Portfolios leverage Franklin Templeton's tactical asset allocation insights and consist of diversified ETFs across sectors and geographies. They target the years 2028, 2030, 2033, and 2035, respectively, automatically calibrating the weights of equity and fixed-income allocations based on the remaining timeframe until the target date.
