BlockDAG announced the launch of its final Beta Testnet, delivering new enhancements and the final testing phase before its main launch.
Testnet Launch and System Reset
The upcoming Beta Testnet will fully reset the previous Alpha version. All token balances, wallet activities, and mining records will be erased. A new feature – a global node map in the blockchain explorer supports contract visibility and coin tracking.
Airdrop and Rewards Program
Each participant will receive 10,000 testnet coins to simulate real transactions according to a vesting plan. A rewards program for the top 30 network participants by various categories has also been launched.
Upgrades to Blockchain Explorer
The Blockchain Explorer received significant upgrades, including the visualization of smart contracts and tools for coin tracking. These enhancements allow developers and participants to delve deeper into network analysis and engagement.
With the launch of the final testnet, BlockDAG is a step closer to delivering its core product, providing a platform for scalability checks and participant engagement improvements.
