Bubblemaps reports that Hayden Davis, the LIBRA project's head and fugitive wanted by Interpol, has launched a new cryptocurrency named WOLF.
Emergence of the WOLF Cryptocurrency
Blockchain analysis firm Bubblemaps states that Hayden Davis, known for other projects like HOOD, has launched the WOLF token. This launch follows rumors about Jordan Belfort, the 'Wolf of Wall Street,' preparing to release a token with the same name.
Investigative Findings by Bubblemaps and Coffeezilla
Bubblemaps, in collaboration with YouTuber Coffeezilla, conducted an investigation that revealed striking similarities between the WOLF and previously released HOOD projects. The analysis indicates direct links between the WOLF token and Davis's known addresses.
Suspicious Financial Transactions
On March 8, the WallStreetBets community introduced the WOLF token, quickly gaining market traction. However, Bubblemaps identified that: - The developer purchased the token ahead of other investors using multiple wallets. - The market value of WOLF soared to $40 million before a suspected scam. - 82% of WOLF’s supply was controlled in a dubious structure. Transfers were traced through 17 addresses and 5 cross-chain transfers ultimately leading to a single address attributed to Hayden Davis.
Davis likely attempted to conceal his involvement in cryptocurrency projects LIBRA and WOLF through complex financial maneuvers.
