Gensler's Statements on Cryptocurrency

Gary Gensler has previously claimed that most cryptocurrencies, other than Bitcoin, Ether, and stablecoins, are securities. This statement caused much discussion at the 56th Annual Securities Regulation Institute Conference.

Will Gensler Resign?

Donald Trump has announced plans to remove Gensler from office after the elections. Gensler may continue to work at the SEC as a commissioner, although his latest comments after the elections were quite loyal.

The future of Gary Gensler at the SEC remains uncertain, especially given Donald Trump's promise to find a more cryptocurrency-friendly candidate. It is expected that a decision on the change will be made soon.
