The project was created in collaboration with the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Wild Dolphin Project to establish the possibility of communicating with dolphins in their language. It is set to be launched for scientific use in the summer of 2025.

The AI model has been trained to understand how dolphins communicate with each other through clicks, whistles, and swift sound patterns. Additionally, the team has developed a device called CHAT that divers can wear underwater to generate dolphin-like sounds in real time.
