  1. Overview of the Airdrop
  2. Cheating and Disqualification
  3. Token Distribution and Future Plans

  4. The Hamster Kombat team has revealed the much-anticipated details of its Season 1 airdrop, distributing 60 billion tokens to eligible users.

    Overview of the Airdrop

Hamster Kombat announced that of its total supply of 100 billion Hamster Kombat (HMSTR) tokens, 75 billion are designated for community members. 60 billion tokens, or 60% of the supply, will be airdropped after Season 1, while 15% are allocated for Season 2. Eligible users will be able to claim 88.75% of their token allocation immediately, with the remaining 11.25% locked for ten months after the token's listing on exchanges. This means approximately 53.25 billion tokens will be distributed right away, while 6.75 billion will be available in July 2025.

    Cheating and Disqualification

The Hamster Kombat team took decisive action against cheating, banning 2.3 million users who attempted to exploit the system. Following a platform snapshot on September 20, these users were automatically disqualified from the airdrop. The announcement about the bans and subsequent disqualifications sparked dissatisfaction among the community, particularly among players who felt they had been unfairly treated. Initially, players believed that accumulating Points Per Hour (PPH) was the primary criterion for eligibility. However, the late introduction of an anti-cheat system based on key collection surprised many. Due to this, some players found themselves ineligible, while others, who may have manipulated the system, remained eligible. "There are a lot of people who got banned without cheating. Hamster Kombat, you need to address this situation; you have made some wrong decisions for the community," one user said in a tweet.

    Token Distribution and Future Plans

While the immediate focus is on the upcoming airdrop, Hamster Kombat's broader strategy involves continual engagement with its player base. The team recently introduced a new reward program for users who choose to receive their airdrop via the Telegram wallet. This initiative offers up to 300% annual percentage yield (APY) on assets, according to a Sept. 19 announcement by Hamster Kombat. Additionally, the game has initiated a simplified "interlude season" to maintain player interest until the full launch of Season 2.

The Season 1 airdrop from Hamster Kombat promises to be a significant event for community members. However, the anti-cheating measures and new eligibility criteria have sparked some controversy and reactions among players.
