Mayfield partner Navin Chaddha noted this could lead to margins of 70-80%, which is notably higher than seen in traditional consulting. Recently, Gruve raised $20 million in a Series A funding round, bringing total funding to $37.5 million for scaling its model.
Shifting to Usage-Based Pricing
Uniquely, Gruve adopts a usage-based pricing model, allowing clients to pay only when AI solutions are actively engaged. This makes AI more accessible and predictable for businesses facing uncertainty in return on investment. Navin Chaddha highlighted this novelty, indicating that clients only pay for the security incident analysis when it is detected.
