On June 19, 2025, ImFact, a blockchain project, unveiled two new blockchain technology categories: Personal Blockchain and On-Device Blockchain, aimed at creating a data authenticity verification infrastructure in the AI era.
New Blockchain Technologies
Personal Blockchain creates individual blockchains that operate on smartphones, allowing users to verify photo authenticity, document originality, and conduct secure offline transactions. On-Device Blockchain embeds blockchains into IoT devices, such as security cameras and vehicles, ensuring data integrity.
Commercial Application Potential
ImFact's technologies are built on six years of development and tested with DaeguChain, a major region in Korea. The mainnet launch is scheduled for Q4 2025, opening opportunities for commercial deployment.
ImFact's Leadership Team and Strategy
The project is led by Professor Minkyu Je from KAIST, along with Yasin Ceran and David Woong Jin Yoon, ensuring technology integration and international market entry. San Jun emphasized the importance of directly embedding blockchain into device infrastructure.
The implementation of Personal Blockchain and On-Device Blockchain aims to change the approach to digital authentication, fostering the creation of a global data verification network in the AI era.
