The cryptocurrency market dropped after new US tariffs, but institutional demand for Bitcoin remains strong.
Strong Institutional Demand for ETFs
ETFs began the week weak but quickly recovered. Fidelity’s FBTC product attracted 119 million dollars, Ark Invest’s ARK ETF increased by 130 million dollars, though BlackRock experienced a 116 million dollar outflow.
Demand Remains Strong Despite Price Volatility
Even as Bitcoin's price fell from 88,000 to 81,000 dollars, trading volume surged by 85% to 54 billion dollars, indicating active trading. Bitcoin is trading around 83,394 dollars with a market capitalization of 1.65 trillion dollars.
Critical Trading Range for Bitcoin
Crypto analyst Ali Martinez highlighted the importance of the 86,900–84,800 dollar range for short-term direction. Institutional investments might lead to an upward breakout.
Despite market volatility, institutional investors continue to invest in Bitcoin, supporting its long-term potential.
