Overtime, a sports betting platform, has officially integrated its parent protocol Thales. The integration coincides with the launch of a new native token, $OVER.
Integration of Overtime and Thales
The consolidation under the Overtime brand provides a unified identity for the protocol and is accompanied by the launch of a new primary domain. Overtime offers functionality comparable to traditional sportsbook platforms, with an operational history recording over $200 million in volume.
User Experience on Overtime Platform
With this launch, Overtime also introduces Overtime Accounts — smart accounts designed to simplify interaction with the platform. Integration with Particle Network allows users to create wallets via social accounts. The platform supports features like parlays, system bets, and live betting, significantly simplifying the betting process for users without technical expertise.
New $OVER Token and Its Functions
The $OVER token has a total supply of 69.42 million and will be used as collateral for bets. Additionally, it will participate in buyback and burn mechanisms, contributing to its deflationary dynamics. Token holders will also be able to use $OVER for voting in the platform's decentralized governance structure.
Overtime represents an example of how a traditional betting industry can be transformed using decentralized technologies, offering users more accessible and transparent conditions for gaming.
