BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust, launched in July 2024, has reached a new record inflow. The fund attracted $301 million in a single day, marking its highest figure since inception.
Record Inflows into iShares Ethereum Trust
On Thursday, BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust recorded a historic inflow of $301 million. Since its launch, the fund has amassed a total of $6.1 billion, significantly surpassing that of its eight competitors. This also marked the second-largest inflow day for Ethereum-related products, amounting to $383 million or 129,500 ETH.
Institutional Interest in Ethereum
BlackRock’s ETHA fund displayed record volume over the previous two days, exceeding $800 million daily, four times the average. In just six trading days this month, nearly $900 million has entered Ethereum ETFs. Overall, more than $5 billion has been invested since launch, despite Grayscale's loss of $4.2 billion.
Ethereum Reaches $3000
Ethereum has broken out of its multi-month sideways channel, achieving $3005 at present. This is the first time the asset has surpassed the $3000 mark since early February. The price increase is linked to positive news regarding corporate treasury adoption and stablecoin fundamentals for the asset.
The record inflows into BlackRock’s ETF highlight the increasing institutional interest in Ethereum. The price surges and trading volumes signal positive momentum and prospects for further growth.
