JANCTION has officially launched the testnet for its new Layer 2 platform, promising more accessible GPU usage and enhanced blockchain speed.
Unique Features of JANCTION
Built on the Ethereum blockchain, JANCTION Layer 2 uses Optimistic Rollup technology to make transactions faster and cheaper. The platform's key feature is the 'GPU Pool,' which allows users to share powerful computing resources for AI and complex graphics tasks. According to JANCTION CEO Hiroshi Harada, 'We aim to break the monopoly of existing platforms and spark a price revolution.'
Collaboration with Jasmy
JANCTION has partnered with one of Japan's largest cryptocurrency projects, Jasmy. This collaboration allows the company to offer more efficient data management solutions within the AI and blockchain ecosystem.
How GPU Sharing Works
The JANCTION platform has implemented time-sharing, partial, and full sharing systems for more efficient GPU resource use. These processes are controlled by smart contracts, helping to reduce costs and ensure efficient resource utilization.
The launch of the JANCTION Layer 2 testnet could bring significant changes to industries such as AI development, gaming, and content creation. The sale of GPU hosting nodes begins in December 2024, with general availability starting February 14, 2025.
