The Jito project continues to showcase remarkable results in the decentralized finance industry, setting new records in total asset volume and fee revenue.
Jito's Performance in 2023
According to its website, Jito's TVL is 14.6 million SOL, equivalent to $2.7 billion, making it the third-largest liquid staking protocol after Lido and Binance Staked ETH. Jito has surpassed Solana, Ethereum, and Uniswap in fee income this year, earning $63 million.
Services Offered by Jito
Jito offers two main solutions: liquid staking and restaking. In liquid staking, users transfer their staked tokens to the network and receive JitoSOL. Additionally, Jito provides restaking, which allows the tokenization of staked assets to enhance returns for holders.
Current State of Jito Token
The Jito token has underperformed since its airdrop in 2023, trading at $2.64 on January 12, 40% below its December peak.
Jito continues to solidify its leadership in the blockchain industry, although its token faces pressure due to the regular issuance of new coins.
