  4. Layer 1 blockchain Kaia has announced its mainnet launch and the Kaia Wave builder support program developed by Kaia and LINE NEXT.

    Kaia Mainnet Launch

The Kaia mainnet will go live on August 29 as the world's fastest EVM blockchain with one-second finality and ultra-low gas fees. Leading Asian web3 partners, including Kakao and LINE NEXT, are involved in the project.

    Kaia Wave Support Program

The Kaia Wave developer support program, developed by Kaia and LINE NEXT, will provide up to $1.2 million worth of marketing, tech, and business support. Developers will use the NEXT WEB SDK package to create LINE Mini Dapps integrated with LINE messenger.

    Backed by Major Players

Klaytn’s blockchain technology is widely used in South Korea for various consumer applications, such as loyalty programs and medical certificates. Finschia blockchain powers the DOSI digital commerce platform. The merger of these blockchains will ensure strong adoption from day one.

The launch of the Kaia mainnet sets the stage for mass consumer adoption of Web3 services in Asia. Collaboration with leading market players and a developer support program provides a strong potential for future growth.
