Kaspa continues to advance in the blockchain field with the Crescendo fork and achieves new heights by enhancing its PoW protocol.
Transformation through TN10 and PoW
Kaspa announced the successful transition of Testnet 10 (TN10) to 10 blocks per second. This success marked a significant milestone following the activation of the Crescendo fork on March 7, 2025. Developer Coderofstuff confirmed the correctness of the upgrade's logic with validations on Initial Block Download, Post-Pruning Behavior, and Transaction Ordering through KIP15.
Kaspa's Future Plans
With the transition to 10 BPS completed, Kaspa will focus on other innovations set out in its roadmap, including a feature freeze by March 20, aiming for full mainnet activation in late April/early May 2025, with the primary fork version finalized by the end of March.
Rapid Growth with GHOSTDAG and PoW
TN10 aims to transform Kaspa into one of the fastest PoW blockchains with the help of the GHOSTDAG protocol, allowing for parallel block creation and confirmation. This transition sets a clear agenda for Kaspa's next significant milestone in its platform development.
Kaspa is making confident strides in enhancing its infrastructure with the move to 10 BPS and the implementation of the GHOSTDAG protocol, preparing for the full launch of its network.
