Kaspa is making significant strides in its blockchain development, enhancing its Crescendo Hardfork upgrade.
Transition to Crescendo Hardfork
Kaspa announced the complete transition of Testnet 10 to 10 blocks per second, a critical step for the blockchain following the Hardfork activation in March 2025.
Current Improvements and Achievements
Kaspa developer, Coderofstuff, shared updates confirming the correctness of the transition logic. Key elements include Initial Block Download validation, Post-Pruning Behavior, and Transaction Ordering.
Future Plans
After achieving 10 BPS, Kaspa is working on innovations outlined in the roadmap, with full mainnet activation slated for late April or early May 2025. This includes a feature freeze and preparation of the primary Hardfork version.
The successful shift to 10 blocks per second strengthens Kaspa's position as one of the fastest PoW blockchains, laying the groundwork for further advancements.
