In the past year, eCash implemented significant upgrades, such as the Heartbeat upgrade which improved block stability and transaction confirmation speed.
The introduced AssumeUTXO feature allows nodes to sync faster, enabling businesses to connect to the network more quickly. Additionally, there have been 25 new Bitcoin ABC node releases, enhancing network stability and security.
Real-World Adoption and Ecosystem Growth
eCash became the platform for the first U.S. government-backed stablecoin issued in the Northern Mariana Islands. The FIRMA stablecoin was launched, expanding decentralized finance opportunities.
The Cashtab wallet has undergone updates, offering new features and an improved interface. New applications have emerged in the eCash ecosystem, including Staked XEC, Local eCash, and updates to Electrum ABC that enhanced functionality.
