Donald Trump's World Liberty Financial (WLFI) has made significant investments in the crypto market, allocating $336 million to various digital assets.
WLFI's Cryptocurrency Portfolio
WLFI, backed by the Trump family, has built a diverse portfolio of digital assets according to blockchain data. The portfolio includes Ethereum (ETH), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Tron (TRX), Chainlink (LINK), Aave (AAVE), Ethena (ENA), Movement (MOVE), Ondo (ONDO), and Sei (SEI), reflecting a strategy to invest across multiple platforms and DeFi technologies.
A New $21.5 Million Crypto Purchase
On March 6, WLFI executed a major crypto purchase of $21.5 million, using funds from a multi-signature USDC wallet. The fund acquired 4,468 ETH for $10 million, 110.6 WBTC for $10 million, and 3.42 million MOVE tokens for $1.5 million, leaving $3.5 million still unspent in reserves.
Current Total Holdings of WLFI
As of March 6, WLFI's total holdings amount to $80.14 million, including significant positions in 7,091 ETH valued at $16.31 million and 162.69 WBTC worth $14.96 million. The fund also holds a large amount of Tether (USDT) and TRX, as well as Ondo (ONDO), USDC, and other assets.
The latest investments by Trump's fund might significantly influence the crypto market, sparking debates about potential conflicts of interest as WLFI is controlled by Trump's close affiliates.
