Shytoshi Kusama, the former lead developer of the popular cryptocurrency Shiba Inu (SHIB), has suddenly withdrawn from the social media platform X, where he was actively sharing updates on the project. However, project representatives assure that Kusama is busy with ambassadorial duties.
Kusama Disappears
Shytoshi Kusama was known for his activity on the social media platform X, regularly updating followers on the development of Shiba Inu. However, his last activity was recorded on March 7, when he retweeted a post about AI entertainment. This absence puzzled some community members, but Shibarium's marketing strategist, LUCIE, reassured the public, stating that Kusama is now an ambassador for the project and is adhering to his previously stated plans.
A New Role: Same Mask, Different Task
In late January of this year, Shytoshi Kusama announced his transition from lead developer to ambassador. He explained that the project no longer requires vision formation, only execution and communications. Kusama stated he would guide projects interested in building with SHIB technologies and help implement global solutions at all levels.
Community Reaction and Outlook
After Kusama's announcement, the Shiba Inu price dipped significantly but quickly rebounded. However, SHIB continues its downward trend globally. Some social media users expect significant partnerships and progress upon Kusama's return. At the time of writing, the currency price stands at around $0.00001316, 25% lower than the January level.
Despite Shytoshi Kusama's unexpected silence on social media, optimism remains within the Shiba Inu community. Project representative LUCIE assures that major announcements and partnerships are planned soon.
