Muyiwa Matuluko, co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of Techpoint Africa, noted that the goal of the expo was to create meaningful connections between startups and corporate partners. 'People want to be able to meet, seal deals, startups meeting corporates,' he added. The event attracted thousands of attendees, providing opportunities to explore innovations in areas such as fintech and healthcare. He shared success examples, including 70 B2B leads for exhibitor Anchor from the previous expo and a recent deal made at the event.

Future Outlook

Matuluko expressed optimism about the expo's future, noting that despite the challenges of organizing large-scale events, they are confident in their plan to continue holding the expo. 'We can do this for a long time,' he concluded, drawing on past experiences and achievements.

Lagos Startup Expo 2.0 proved its value as an important platform for startups and investors, offering numerous opportunities for collaboration and growth in Africa's tech sector.
