Kenyan logistics startup Leta has raised $5 million in a seed funding round to help businesses in Africa move goods faster and cheaper.
Investments in Leta
The funding round was led by European VC firm Speedinvest, with backing from Google’s Africa Investment Fund and the Equator climate tech fund. These investments will allow Leta to expand its operations across the continent.
How Leta's Technology Works
The platform integrates with customers’ ERP, POS, and OMS systems, automatically selects the nearest vehicles, and chooses the loading method: FIFO or LIFO. With AI-powered technology, delivery routes are optimized in real time.
Leta's Future Plans
Since its last funding round in 2022, Leta has significantly increased the number of deliveries managed and the volume of transported goods. The company plans to double its revenue by expanding into new markets in Africa and the Middle East.
Leta is actively working to expand its services and improve logistics across Africa, aiming to become a leader in delivery optimization on the continent.
