The cryptocurrency industry is experiencing a wave of hacks and legal battles. Recent events include significant attacks on Clipper DEX and Spectral Labs, as well as a lawsuit from the SEC against Touzi Capital.

Circumstances of Clipper DEX Hack

Decentralized exchange Clipper confirmed that a recent $450,000 breach was due to a vulnerability in its withdrawal function. The attack resulted in the loss of about 6% of the protocol’s total value locked. Clipper reported that the breach occurred on December 1, affecting two liquidity pools.

Attack on Spectral Labs Platform

SEC Legal Action Against Touzi Capital

The SEC filed a lawsuit against investment firm Touzi Capital for misleading investors about the liquidity and profitability of its crypto asset mining fund. The SEC claims the company raised around $95 million from investors.
