METABORA (Co-CEOs Lim Young-Jun and Choi Se-hoon) has announced a strategic partnership with LINE NEXT Inc. (CEO Youngsu Ko). This collaboration aims to distribute Web3 games via the LINE Messenger-based Dapp Portal.
Features of the Dapp Portal
The Dapp Portal is built on the KAIA ecosystem and allows users to enjoy a variety of Mini Dapps directly within the LINE Messenger app, without needing to install separate applications. Launched in January, the platform has already attracted over 100 million users.
Expansion of BORA Token Utility
As part of the collaboration, METABORA will expand the utility of its BORA token by implementing a payment infrastructure for in-game item purchases and Gas Abstraction technology. This will allow users to make purchases within apps without needing KAIA tokens to cover gas fees. Additionally, plans are underway to research and develop infrastructure for stablecoin support, such as USDT.
The partnership between METABORA and LINE NEXT represents a significant advancement in the development of Web3 games, increasing accessibility and expanding the functionality of the BORA token within the LINE ecosystem.
