The acquisition reflects Metaplanet’s aggressive treasury strategy initiated in late 2024. The firm's Bitcoin yield has surged impressively, with a year-to-date gain exceeding 400%, underscoring the success of its long-term digital asset investment approach.
Long-Term Plans for Metaplanet
The company aims to continue its rapid accumulation, targeting 30,000 BTC by the end of 2025 and an ambitious 210,000 BTC by 2027. This strategy is supported by capital market activities, including bond issuances and stock warrants.
