Metaplanet Reaches 10,000 Bitcoin After Recent Purchase

Metaplanet has made a significant announcement regarding the growth of its Bitcoin assets, reaching a total of 10,000 BTC after the new purchase.

Latest Bitcoin Purchase

Metaplanet acquired 1,112 Bitcoin at an average price of $105,435 per coin, bringing its total holdings to 10,000 BTC. Metaplanet's CEO, Simon Gerovich, confirmed this achievement on his X account.

Metaplanet's Status Among Bitcoin Holders

According to BitcoinTreasuries, Metaplanet now ranks 9th in terms of Bitcoin holdings, surpassing Coinbase Global, which holds 9,267 BTC. However, MicroStrategy remains the largest Bitcoin holder with 582,000 BTC.

Future Plans

In addition to Bitcoin purchases, Metaplanet announced the issuance of $210 million in zero-interest ordinary bonds to further increase its investment in Bitcoin. The company aims to acquire 210,000 BTC over the next few years.

Metaplanet continues to actively purchase Bitcoin, strengthening its market position and creating prospects for future investments.
