Michael Saylor, the largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder, continues to expand his cryptocurrency holdings amid a rising market.
Recent Acquisitions
On June 30, the Strategy company reported to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission the purchase of 4,980 Bitcoin for approximately $531.1 million. This acquisition took place between June 26 and June 30 at an average price of $106,801 per BTC. During the same period, Bitcoin's price increased from around $101,000 to over $108,000.
Total Asset Evaluation and Yield
With the latest acquisition, the company's total Bitcoin volume now stands at 597,325 BTC, valued at about $42.4 billion at an average purchase price of $70,982 per coin. So far in 2025, Strategy has added 85,871 BTC, equivalent to roughly $9.5 billion.
Future Prospects and Plans
The company has also seen a slight boost in its Bitcoin yield, increasing by 0.5% to reach 19.7%. Additionally, MicroStrategy, the leading corporate Bitcoin holder, also purchased an additional 1,070 BTC for $101 million, reinforcing its market position. It also plans to raise $2 billion through a preferred stock offering to accelerate its Bitcoin acquisition strategy.
