Swedish asset manager Virtune has issued new exchange-traded products to invest in cryptocurrencies Avalanche and Cardano in Finland.
Launch of Virtune ETPs
Virtune has introduced two new exchange-traded products (ETPs) in the Finnish market, providing investors access to cryptocurrencies Avalanche (AVAX) and Cardano (ADA). While the Virtune Avalanche ETP tracks the value of AVAX, the staked Cardano product includes an annual return of 2%.
What ETPs are
ETPs, or exchange-traded products, allow investors to invest in cryptocurrencies without actually buying and storing coins. These are investment products that are bought and sold on exchanges like stocks. Recently the company launched five new ETPs, including an index that tracks the value of several altcoins.
Growing Investment Interest in Cryptocurrencies
Virtune is not the only company launching crypto investment products. BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, is preparing to issue a Bitcoin-based ETP in Europe. Such products are considered important for increasing crypto investment interest among users who do not wish to deal with cryptocurrency storage.
With the launch of new ETPs by Virtune and other major companies, crypto investors' interest continues to grow, offering a simplified way to participate in the crypto market.
