The NFT market is showing a positive trend as the cryptocurrency market slowly recovers. The weekly sales volume has increased by 22.5%, reaching $93 million.
Increase in NFT Sales Volume
According to the latest data, NFT sales volume has risen from $77.6 million to $93 million in a week. The number of NFT buyers almost doubled from 263,804 to 494,666. The number of sellers also saw a 108% increase, reaching 252,401.
Ethereum vs. Bitcoin
For the first time in a long period, Ethereum has overtaken Bitcoin in sales volume over the last seven days. Ethereum NFT sales increased from $26.6 million to $33.4 million, a rise of over 30%. Bitcoin also experienced a 36% rise, with its weekly sales volume reaching $21.6 million. Notably, $5.3 million of Ethereum's volume was attributed to wash trading, while Bitcoin's wash trading figure stood at $902,000. Solana held the third place with a weekly NFT sales volume of $16.6 million, with Mythos Chain and Polygon taking the next spots with $5.5 million and $3.9 million, respectively.
DMarket Maintains Leadership
DMarket has been topping the sales rankings for three weeks, despite a 30% decrease in sales to $5.2 million. The Uncategorized Ordinals NFT collection came in second with a sales surge of 1,800%, achieving $4.86 million. Among the top sales of the past week were: Ordinal Maxi Biz #882b65…a96ei0 for $109,079, Ordinal Maxi Biz #32b13f...6c26i0 for $91,085.87, as well as CryptoPunks #6409 for $79,237.16.
The NFT market shows significant growth in sales volume and active participants, with Ethereum leading the pack. DMarket continues to retain its top position in sales rankings.
