At a recent press conference, the president of the association, Dr. Stanley Jacob, announced the aim to attract more diverse participants into the ecosystem.
"With each player who takes their role, we can create a symphony," Dr. Jacob noted. This year, the focus will be on involving representatives from a wide range of sectors.
Conference in Different Cities of Nigeria
Fintech Week 2025 will take place simultaneously in several cities across Nigeria, including Lagos and Abuja. This decision is aimed at maximizing outreach, including those outside metropolitan areas. Vice President Jameelah Sharrieff-Ayedun emphasized that this will create a memorable experience for participants from various industries.

The key directives for this Fintech Week include fostering active participation among communities, sparking proactive discussions, and showcasing the diversity of fintech as it impacts the lives of Nigerians. One of the event's partners, Iseoma Udeozo, highlighted the importance of having resources to support and grow ideas, which will be a central theme during the week.
