On October 8, 2024, NTT Digital, Japan's largest telecom company, officially joined Injective as a validator.

NTT Digital's Entry into the Injective Network

NTT Digital, part of the larger Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT), one of the world's largest Fortune 500 companies, has joined Injective as its latest validator.

We're excited to join the Injective ecosystem as an official validator starting October 8, 2024, and look forward to contributing to a robust and dynamic network.None

NTT Digital's Strategic Initiatives in Web3

NTT Digital is actively exploring various blockchain projects and partnerships to establish itself as a key player. The company launched the web3 Jam initiative to facilitate corporate collaboration using blockchain. As of May 22, 2024, NTT Digital reported support from 14 companies for this project.

Expanding Injective's Validator Network

NTT Digital is not the only Japanese company to join Injective. On June 11, Gumi, a leading mobile gaming company, also became a validator for the Injective network.

NTT Digital's inclusion in the Injective network strengthens the latter's presence in the Japanese market and aids the advancement of Web3 initiatives globally.
