Crypto exchange OKX has launched its services in Belgium, offering a wide range of cryptocurrencies and new opportunities for users.
OKX's Launch in Belgium
Seychelles-headquartered crypto exchange OKX has announced the start of its operations in Belgium. Belgian users can now access spot trading, conversion, and a variety of crypto services through OKX's exchange and wallet. According to a press release dated November 28, the company indicated that users will have access to over 200 cryptocurrencies, including more than 60 crypto-euro trading pairs, along with euro deposit and withdrawal options.
Features of Bancontact Use
OKX stated that its expansion in Belgium leverages Bancontact, the local online payment system, allowing customers to deposit funds instantly and at no charge. SEPA withdrawals and deposits are also available fee-free.
OKX's Strategy in Europe
OKX Europe general manager Erald Ghoos said that the launch in Belgium is a key step in the company's regional expansion. The Belgian launch is supported by a local team and services tailored to the unique needs of Belgian customers. This expansion is part of OKX's broader strategy to enhance its presence across Europe. Earlier in 2024, the exchange ventured into the Netherlands and announced plans to establish a regulatory hub in Malta, where it obtained a Class 4 Virtual Financial Assets license in 2021. OKX also plans to list additional tokens for Belgian users as part of its ongoing product expansion.
The launch of OKX in Belgium strengthens its position in the European market, offering users access to a broad range of cryptocurrencies and innovative financial solutions.
