OpenSea, the leading non-fungible token market platform, has announced the successful integration of the Ronin blockchain network. This move allows users to create unique NFT collections such as Axie, Awaken Hunter, and Capy Game agent.
Integration with Ronin
On March 25, the OpenSea team confirmed that the Ronin blockchain network is now supported on their platform. To celebrate this milestone, two NFT collections, Jin and Ronke, have been launched for free minting. This achievement marks seven years of work by the OpenSea team.
Platform Features
Founded in 2017, OpenSea is one of the largest NFT trading platforms, with more than three million active users. The platform supports non-custodial operations, allowing full user control. Ronin, on the other hand, is an Ethereum Virtual Machine network created by Sky Mavis to host NFTs and blockchain gaming. It is optimized for fast, low-cost transactions and scalability.
Cross-blockchain Support
OpenSea provides compatibility across various blockchains such as Ethereum, Polygon, Klaytn, and others. As part of its expansion strategy, the platform aims to integrate over 20 blockchain networks to become the go-to platform for NFTs.
The integration of the Ronin blockchain into OpenSea opens up new possibilities for platform users, enhancing NFT collection and trading capabilities.
