The Cryptopia team focused on reducing GPU load by batching multiple assets into a single processor call. Level of Detail (LOD) optimization allows for using lower-resolution models for distant objects, reducing render times from 40ms to 25ms.
Blockchain Transaction Tracking Improvements
Cryptopia's economy relies on multi-signature wallets and internal smart contracts. In partnership with @DappRadar, custom event tracking and multi-signature wallet support were implemented, enhancing $TOS transactions transparency.
Vegetation Masking and Shadows Optimization
Vegetation masking was a significant GPU bottleneck. Alternative rendering methods, such as fade-out effects, and preloaded mask data were introduced. Shadows have been improved with smoother transitions and dynamic updates based on the time of day.
