OverProtocol and Pocket Network have announced a partnership aimed at improving the performance and accessibility of Web3 infrastructure in South Korea. The collaboration will facilitate the integration of decentralized networks and allow users to become active participants in the blockchain ecosystem.
Partnership Goals
OverProtocol and Pocket Network aim to democratize node participation by creating a decentralized and secure infrastructure. The partnership will include the integration of Pocket Network's decentralized RPC layer to support OverProtocol and other blockchains.
The Pocket Network Foundation will provide subsidies for gateway throughput in the form of token swaps with OverProtocol.
Blockchain Innovations in Korea
SuperBlock, a contributor to OverProtocol, will become the first Pocket Network gateway in Korea, helping to reduce infrastructure costs for Web3 startups in the country. The partners plan to create a KRW stablecoin distribution structure that complies with Korean standards, enhancing network availability and stability.
Future of Decentralized Infrastructure
The partnership may lead to decentralized Content Delivery Network (CDN) capabilities for decentralized applications (dApps) via RPC endpoints within the Pocket Network. OverProtocol envisions a dApp architecture hosted entirely on personal nodes without centralized servers, creating a truly decentralized alternative.
The OverProtocol and Pocket Network partnership opens new horizons for blockchain innovations in South Korea, making Web3 infrastructure more accessible and reliable.
