Telegram and Toncoin founder Pavel Durov, who was unexpectedly detained in France over the weekend, was released on probation yesterday after a long detention.

Pavel Durov was released on the condition that he pay a €5 million bail and not leave France. He also faces an investigation in Switzerland.
Investigation in Switzerland
Durov is under investigation for a number of crimes, including allegations that he was complicit in helping fraudsters, drug traffickers, and people who distributed child pornography, Forbes reported.
Allegations by Ex-Wife
Forbes reported that Durov was complained about in Geneva by his ex-wife Irina Bolgar. Durov was accused of physical violence against their youngest son, born in September 2017, causing injuries such as concussions and sleep disorders.
