    Pavel Durov was released on the condition that he pay a €5 million bail and not leave France. He also faces an investigation in Switzerland.

    Investigation in Switzerland

    Durov is under investigation for a number of crimes, including allegations that he was complicit in helping fraudsters, drug traffickers, and people who distributed child pornography, Forbes reported.

    Allegations by Ex-Wife

    Forbes reported that Durov was complained about in Geneva by his ex-wife Irina Bolgar. Durov was accused of physical violence against their youngest son, born in September 2017, causing injuries such as concussions and sleep disorders.

    Forbes has learned that Telegram billionaire CEO and founder Pavel Durov, who was arrested in France, is also a suspect in a criminal case in Switzerland. The case was brought by his ex-wife Irina Bolgar, who claims to have three children with Durov. The criminal case, filed in Geneva in March 2023, alleges that Durov physically abused one of his three children. According to a Geneva court official, the ongoing case alleges that Durov harmed his youngest son, born in September 2017, five times between 2021 and 2022.Forbes
