According to a press release from PDX Global, the PDX Beam app has been integrated into the Clover payments processing network, allowing 800,000 merchants to accept cryptocurrency payments. The app is available for Apple and Google devices.

PDX Beam is a direct crypto-to-cash payment platform that instantly converts cryptocurrency to cash for the merchant. Customers can use the app to generate a barcode, which is then scanned by the merchant, and the payment occurs without any additional transfer fees. Thus, the app minimizes the risk of chargeback fraud.

PDX Global CEO, Shane Rodgers, considers the launch of PDX Beam on major app stores as a significant milestone for the firm. He noted that the platform already has a rapidly growing one-click integration base and plans to expand its user and partner merchant base. According to Deloitte, 85% of merchants expect cryptocurrencies to become a regular means for daily transactions in the coming years.
