As the crucial migration to the mainnet on June 28 approaches, Pi Network users are facing a series of serious issues related to verification and access to their funds.
KYC Verification Problems
The main issue lies with KYC verification. Many users had cleared KYC months ago, but upon attempting migration, they see their status stuck on 'tentative approval' or get caught in an endless loop. Despite passing photo and ID checks, the system is not synchronizing. The Pi Core Team released a 'Synchronize Status' button within the app, but many users report that nothing has changed.
Challenges with Two-Factor Authentication
Introduced earlier this year, the two-factor authentication (2FA) is also proving problematic. Many users do not receive confirmation emails, and those who do encounter errors. In the worst cases, after completing 2FA, tokens are pushed back into the mobile app, undoing the migration. The team has not provided proper guidance on this feature.
Empty Wallets Post-Migration
For those who managed to get through KYC and 2FA, another pressing issue emerges: empty wallets. Some users report that their tokens appear and then disappear within minutes, while others do not see their coins at all. 'My transferable balance went to zero today, did not transfer to my wallet,' one user posted on Reddit. Social platforms are filled with similar complaints, and there is no clear explanation so far.
As the next wave of migration is set for June 28, users express frustration with the existing problems. If the Pi Core Team does not resolve these issues quickly, it may impact trust in the project.
