Pi Network has introduced new tools, including Pi App Studio, which allows users to create blockchain applications without programming. A new app ranking mechanism has also been implemented.
Launch of Pi App Studio
Pi App Studio allows users to develop functional blockchain applications using plain-text instructions, eliminating the need for programming. Early features include customizable AI chatbots and a beta builder that automatically generates apps based on user prompts. This tool is available within the Pi Browser and is designed to empower everyday users to create and own digital products.
Ecosystem and New Features
In addition to Pi App Studio, Ecosystem Directory Staking has been introduced, a community-driven app discovery system. Now, app ranking is influenced by how much Pi users are willing to stake toward them. More staked Pi means higher visibility, rewarding quality solutions and user engagement.
Updates and Collaborations
Furthermore, a new version of the Pi Node software has been released, and the mainnet onboarding process has been streamlined, which has already helped over 500,000 users transition. Additional updates include an extension of the .pi domain auction, a fiat on-ramp aggregator to ease entry for newcomers, and the launch of the Ecosystem Challenge, a rewards campaign encouraging users to test the new features via the Pi app.
The launch of Pi App Studio and the new app ranking mechanisms in the Pi Network ecosystem showcase the project's commitment to expanding user opportunities and improving engagement with applications.
