Pi Network has unveiled its long-anticipated plan for migration to the mainnet, which involves transitioning millions of users to the open network. New incentives for users have also been announced.
Stages of Migration to Mainnet
The migration plan consists of three key phases. The first phase will involve initial migrations, including confirmed mining rewards, security circle rewards, lockup bonuses, and app usage bonuses.
The second phase will implement referral mining rewards, but only for those referrals that have undergone KYC (Know Your Customer) checks. This phase will commence once the migration queue for the current version of Kin drives is complete.
Lastly, the third phase will initiate periodic migrations on a continuous basis, though no specific timelines have yet been provided.
Community Concerns
Many users express concerns regarding the lack of specific information. Some node operators have received rewards, but it is unclear what these rewards are for. This raises worry among early supporters.
Users have also noted that despite their daily attempts to claim rewards, they do not see their coins. Particularly concerning is the information that the 'Transferable Balance' could be less than the actual amount, leading users to question the existence of their coins.
Call for Clarity and Answers
The community is calling for clarity regarding how many users are in line for migration and the network's daily migration capacity. There are concerns that misleading data on the 'Transferable Balance' could undermine trust.
Some users are starting to doubt the reality of the project's blockchain, claiming it seems that all tokens were minted at Genesis, which contradicts six years of mining.
The Pi Network migration plan receives mixed reactions from users who demand greater clarity and confidence in the project's future. Many questions remain unanswered, and the community continues to seek solutions.
