  4. Popular Web3 content creator Cloudwhite and his partner Laura celebrated their wedding in the adventure game Pixels, marking the first ever Web3 in-game wedding. The event gathered many guests and became a groundbreaking Web3 gaming event.

    Wedding in Pixels Game

Cloudwhite and Laura met at the AxieCon, an Axie Infinity convention, in 2022. They decided to get married in the Pixels game, where players can farm, explore, and showcase their NFTs. Hosting their wedding in Pixels was a personal choice and a way to include friends and family from around the globe.

    Wedding Preparations

Cloudwhite told Web3 Gamer, "We live-streamed and hosted the wedding in Pixels Online to let family and friends from Wisconsin and Colombia join." Gamers who attended the wedding wore elegant suits and beautiful wedding dresses. A huge turnout saw 3,789 players purchasing suits and 1,865 in wedding dresses.

    First Web3 Marriage

According to Cointelegraph, Cloudwhite admitted he felt a bit "jealous" of all the fun people had in-game while he was busy with wedding planning and making one of the biggest commitments of his life. He loved seeing players create their own side events like bachelor parties at The Drunken Goose. Cloudwhite and Laura exchanged vows at Terra Villa Central in Pixels on September 7th. Their Web3 wedding quickly became the talk of the gaming world.

The pixel marriage of Cloudwhite and Laura has opened new horizons for interaction in virtual reality, allowing players to create unique and meaningful events in the digital space.
