The Pokémon TCG Pocket community criticizes the collection showcase interface, calling it uninspiring and in need of revision.

Discontent with Showcase Interface

Displaying collections has always been a feature of Pokémon TCG Pocket. However, some players find the current system lacking. Reddit user AtomicBlue initiated a discussion, stating that showcases waste a lot of space. "Why aren't community showcase cards like this instead of how they are?" he asks.

Player Suggestions

Atomic Blue suggested a revamped showcase mock-up where cards and backgrounds are displayed together as owners see them. Currently, these elements are separate, and some find this setup underwhelming. The critique gained traction on the r/PTCGP subreddit, with more players wishing the developers, DeNA, would improve how showcases function.

Future Updates and Changes

Even though the Pokémon TCG Pocket only launched in late October 2024, it's not the first time fans have requested changes. It's uncertain how open DeNA is to suggestions like these. Meanwhile, developers have announced other updates, including a trading feature set for release by the end of January 2025. However, players eager for change will have to wait and see if their requests are heeded.

Pokémon TCG Pocket players continue to discuss showcase interface changes, with the developers' response still uncertain.
