Deal Worth $386.5 Million

ProCap BTC announced the purchase of 3,724 Bitcoins for approximately $386.5 million, with an average purchase price of $103,785 per Bitcoin.

Merger with Columbus Circle Capital

This acquisition follows the recent merger with Columbus Circle Capital, announced on June 23, 2025, which raised over $750 million in capital and will make ProCap BTC a public company under the name ProCap Financial.

Company Strategy

According to the official press release, the funds raised were quickly converted into Bitcoin, providing immediate BTC exposure to equity investors. ProCap plans to continue adding Bitcoin to its balance sheet with an expectation of holding up to $1 billion worth of Bitcoin post-merger.

This purchase underscores ProCap's focus on actively increasing its Bitcoin reserves and strengthening its market position in the future.
